Sunscreens should be reapplied at least every two hours to maintain protection. Sunscreens can lose effectiveness when you sweat or swim and then remove them with a towel. Therefore, the protectors have to be reapplied more frequently. And do not forget the lips; there are also lip balms with sun protection.
Some people might think that if they use a sunscreen with a very high SPF, they do not have to be so careful about how to use it, but this is not true. If you decide to use a sunscreen with a very high SPF, keep in mind that this does not mean you can stay in the sun longer, use less sunscreen or apply it less often. Always be sure to read the label.
Some products with sunscreen can irritate the Ambrosina Skin. Many products claim to be hypoallergenic or have been subjected to dermatological tests, but the only way to know if a product will irritate your skin is by testing it. A common recommendation is to apply a small amount on the skin of the arm where it flexes (the skin on the opposite side of the elbow) for 3 consecutive days. If your Ambrosina Skin does not become red or tender or itchy, the product may be right for you.
